Employees will have an opportunity to take a half day off work to volunteer in their neighborhoods. And this year it's GO GREEN & GLOBAL. Many of the projects will focus on environmentally conscientious ways to improve communities. We will work with schools, non-profits, nature centers and other locales to improve our communities and share information on the steps to GO GREEN & GLOBAL |

Join your fellow Motorolans for the third annual Global Day of Service, a day when we take a half day off work to roll up our sleeves and get involved in the communities where we live and work, all around the globe to act on our values and continue Motorola's heritage of giving back to our communities. |

- To build a relationship between Motorolans and the communities where they work and live
- To provide valuable services to communities around the world
- To work together to create a single Motorola volunteer network
- To increase Motorola's visibility as a multinational corporation making a positive contribution

How to sign up for a project as a volunteer:
- Get your manager's approval to participate
- Find the project you like and select it to register
- Fill in the registration form and click "Submit"
- Under the principle that "first come first served"
