Background:
The Sixteenth Congress of the Communist Party of China is the first Congress in the 21 century and will provide a big picture of China's Economic Reform and Development. The new structure of the Communist Party of China and the key methodologies, policies and principles of the congress will play a vital role in guiding economic strategic planning and affecting further investments in China, no matter the investors are from domestic or abroad. Motorola University China takes the initiative to invite keynote speakers to share their ideas and knowledge on the Congress contents, possible economic development trends, economic reforms, new challenges and opportunities in China after the Sixteenth Congress of the CPC. And also, you will have enough time to share your ideas or exchange ideas with the keynote speakers.

BIODATA FOR MR. PATRICK CHOY
Mr. Patrick Choy enjoys the titles of Motorola Corporate Vice President, and Corporate Director of Strategic Finance Asia Pacific. He joined Motorola semiconductor operations in Hong Kong and has been engaged in senior finance positions of Motorola semiconductor operations in Asia Pacific. The key positions include: Motorola Corporate Finance Manager Asia Pacific, Director of Corporate Finance Asia Pacific, Vice President of Motorola Inc., Corporate Vice President and Corporate Director of Strategic Finance Asia Pacific.
Since 1986 Mr. Choy has been actively participating in the establishment and development of Motorola operations in China. Mr. Choy also served as a Board member (director) in practically all the Motorola companies in the Asia Pacific region. Because of his knowledge and experience on financial law and regulations related to foreign investment in the region, several governments in the Asia Pacific have sought Mr. Choy's advice. This also includes serving as a Consultant to the PRC State Administration of Taxation since April 1993.

Mr. Hai Wen (Ph.D.) is Inchcape Professor of Economics, Senior Deputy Director of China Center for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University. His teaching and research areas include International Economics (Trade), Development Economics, and Transitional Economics.

Cao Yuanzheng, Ph. D. in Economics (China People's University); Visiting Professor at Economic Institute of Damstadt, Germany; Director for Bank of China International Holdings, & Vice CEO and Chief Economist. Mr. Cao has been involved in methodology research and policies formulation on China economic reform and macro-economy. His research focuses on Comparative Economics System and Macroeconomics. Mr. Cao has been specialist for International Bank, Asia Development Bank, and United Nations Development Planning Office. Mr. Cao is noted for his scholarly attainments and has earned many awards for his outstanding contribution in research. He is still an advisor for the Chinese government, also has rich experiences for the Chinese enterprises and MNCs doing business in China.
Mr Cao Yuanzheng holds many positions such as: Deputy President of the Economic System Reform Institute under the State Economic System Reform Committee; Director of Comparative Economic System Office under the Foreign Economic System Department; Deputy Head of Comparative Economic System Research Office under the China Economic System Reform Research Institute; Ph.
