Motorola Asia-Pacific Hails Lifting of SARS Travel Advisories, Thanks Partners, Employees and Customers for Support During SARS Crisis

Company Prepares for Exciting Product Launches in Q3

HONG KONG -June 30, 2003 -- Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT) an integrated global communications company dedicated to the proliferation of technology that makes things smarter and life better today hailed the improvement of the business climate in Asia-Pacific with the final lifting of travel advisories imposed during the SARS epidemic.

All operations at plants and offices across the Asia-Pacific region remain fully operational. Motorola looks forward to announcing a suite of new products and services in the third-quarter.
